Our Site Specific Climbing Wall Supervisor is a certificate of competence that fills the void between enthusiastic climbers without qualifications and holders of the Climbing Wall Instructor. There is a recognised requirement in the UK to support potential climbing instructors who do not have the necessary experience or time to achieve the competencies required of a full National Governing Body award.
The AdventureFitness is happy to offer bespoke technical advice and staff training for public and private climbing walls and schools that have their own climbing wall on-site. Our Site Specific Climbing Supervisors course is extremely detailed and in-depth. Our courses are held over either one or two days depending on the size of your climbing wall and the number of ‘supervisors’ who require training.
The course will provide training and assessment for teachers and group leaders to deliver safe and fun toped rope climbing sessions or bouldering activities specifically at the group or school’s own wall. This will also include providing training for your nominated staff member in equipment care and maintenance along with the management of the climbing wall and the associated risks and required paperwork.
